Practical Education and Graduation Project:
The practical education course is as follows:
1- Practical education consists of two aspects - theoretical one based on citing examples of applying teaching skills in the classroom, and practical one applied in schools where the teacher undertakes actual teaching.
2- The applied aspects of this course occur at the beginning of the first and second semester in accordance with the academic calendar of the Ministry of Education in the Syrian Arab Republic.
3- The theoretical part of the practical education is assessed by an approved theoretical test.
The distribution of the total score of the course is as follows: 40% of the total score is allocated for the theoretical test, and 60% for the practical part, provided that the teaching student does not score below 20 marks in the theoretical test and 30 marks in the applied part. Besides, the student’s passing mark in the practical education course is 50 (fifty) marks.
As for the graduation project, it contains an organized set of documents that provides some evidence and proof on the adequacy of the teaching student in terms of teaching-related cognitive aspects, trends, and skills.
That is, it is a collection of work forms by the teaching student showing their efforts, skills, potential, accomplishments and contributions towards their students, colleagues, the institution in which they work and the academic system. The final grade of the project (100 marks) is distributed according to what is shown in the following table:
