MWT is a Master's program which will give students the opportunity to develop outstanding application development expertise in the fast-paced area of web technologies. As a graduate of this master program students will be able to:

Create and deploy web-based applications.
Use web application frameworks.
Build scalable web applications and analyse their performance using the adequate
tools and techniques.

Registration

The student is allowed to apply to the program's acceptance test if the following conditions are met:

1-The student must have a bachelor degree with an acceptable graduation rate at least, from a public or private university recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education, or universities accepted by the Council of Scientific Affairs, and approved by the Council of the University, in one of the following specialties: Engineering with all its specialties – Science Informatic – Science / Mathematics ( Applied Mathematics and Informatics) – Information Technology – Information Technology / BIT:SVU – Applied Faculty – Diploma of Engineering Higher Institute for Applied Sciences and Technology ( Information Engineering – Communication Engineering – Information Systems ) – Computer Science – Information Systems – Information Technology Management ( HIBA-MIS ) – Bachelor od Informatics UOG – Arab Academy for Science, Technology , and Maritime Transport ( Bachelor ).

2- To pass the English language test conducted by the University (SVU-PT) in accordance with the conditions approved by the University Council; or equivalent to global standard test scores, provided that no more than two years have elapsed.

Studying duration

The duration of studying master's degree in Web technology is two years minimum and four years maximum.

Success and graduation conditions

A student is considered passed in any of the program's courses if he gets a final grade of at least 60%. He is also considered passed in the master's project if he obtains a grade (granted by the jury), not less than 60%. This is after the student has presented the results of his project to the Committee and discusses its technical content.
The student obtains a master's degree in Web technologies after having successfully completed 120 credit hours within the maximum period of time specified for the study.

Project or graduation thesis

The registered students on the graduation project should follow the following steps:

The student applies by e-mail to the program director to confirm the project title and the name of the supervisor and the aim of the research during the first two months from the beginning of the registration semester on the project.
The student gets the approval of the Council of Scientific Affairs on the title and the university informs the student of the approval on the title.
The student must provide a research plan to the program management within three months from the date of approval by the Council of Scientific Affairs on the title.
The student has the right to defend the project after one year from the date of approval on the research plan by the Scientific Affairs Council.
After the student has completed his project, taking into account item 4, the student’s supervisor sends the final version of the project to the program director in to form a committee of judgment.
