Internal regulations of TITH

Through the program of the Technical Institute for Tourism and Hotel Sciences (TITH) and in cooperation with the Ministry of Tourism, the Syrian Virtual University (SVU) aims to qualify technicians who have required basic skills in the field of tourism and hotel sciences as this certificate constitutes the first and necessary base in the applied technical qualification for a high school diploma holder whom it helps to quickly enter the labor market. The program provides the opportunity of qualifying holders of high school diploma (modern and old) be it scientific, literary, commercial, professional, hotel or any other high school diploma approved by the University Council, with the aim of developing their capabilities and enabling them to acquire professional skills required in the labor market

The program aims to achieve the following:

  2. To shape and develop the student’s scientific and technical personality by taking advantage of all the benefits offered by virtual learning and in accordance with the latest information and international standards, whereby students anywhere can continue their studies.
  3. To develop the student’s social and professional status through a certificate that allows them to get better job opportunities and an opportunity to apply to the specialized promotion programs at the SVU to obtain a bachelor’s degree in tourism and hotel management, if he/she achieves in the institute the graduation rate approved by the councils regarding the terms of differentiation.
