The professional master in quality program, MiQ, aims at qualifying professionals in the quality domain, by providing them with the knowledge and skills that enable them to lead and pioneer initiatives for improvement in public and private organizations in all sectors and at all levels. The program enables the graduates to work in quality management and quality engineering, and helps them to initiate in other directions in quality such as quality audit, reliability and measurement systems.

Registration

Students are allowed to apply for the program's professional admission test if the following conditions are achieved:

1- student may obtain a university degree at an acceptable graduation average and above, from a public or private universities, that recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education, or universities which are accepted and approved by The Council of Scientific Affairs and The University Council in one of the following terms of reference:

Medicine - Dentistry - Pharmacy - Engineering in all its specialization - Veterinary Medicine, Nursing - Health Sciences- Science (Life Science - Environmental Science - Mathematics - Physics - Chemistry - Geology - Mathematical Statistics) Business Information Technology / BIT: SVU - Information Technology - Economics - Business Administration - Administrative and Financial Sciences / Banking - Management Sciences / Business Administration - Tourism - Bachelor in (Informatics - Business Administration - Business Information Technology UOG - Higher Institute of Business Administration HIBA (Human Resources Management - Marketing and International Trade - Financial and Banking Management - Information System Management and Technology- Diploma of the Higher Institute of Applied Sciences and Technology (Communications Engineering - Information Engineering - Information Systems) - Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (Bachelor Degree).

Library and information science - Media - Education with all its specialties – English Language - French Language (from holders of a scientific high school diploma).

2- Student may pass the SVU (PT) English test at a rate of 60% or above. The international standard tests such as the TOEFL or IELTS exam are accepted, provided that they have not been more than two years old under determined conditions by the University Council.

Studying duration

The duration of studying master's degree in "Master in Quality" is two years (four semesters) minimum and four years (eight semesters) maximum.

Success and graduation conditions

In order to get the master degree:

The student must pass all mandatory courses.
The student must pass in at least 5 courses (or 35 credit hours) of the elective courses.
A student must pass in a single course (or at least 7 credit hours) of courses taught in English.
The student must pass in the master's project.
The student must terminate all the obligations required.
