Student Accounting(graduation certificate)
What are the required steps to get the graduation certificate?
- Place (submit) a financial clearance request at the clearance Department or at one of the SVU accredited centers.
- Must bring a certified copy of the academic qualification on which the student was admitted by, and a copy of his / her personal id.
- Must bring all the financial receipts which the student had paid at the university if they are available at his / her end.
- Students who have the teachers’ syndicate must bring a clearance from the teachers’ union for their study period (the Clearance) showing the duration of the father's or mother's enrollment in the union during the period of the student's study.
- Must pay the graduation fees in the account of each student upon graduation (30000 SYP) for all programs and (40000 SYP) for PHD students for Syrian students or (200 Euro / 200 $) for non-Syrian students or Syrians outside Syria.
- Waiting an e-mail message from SVU showing the full amount of the student's payments (missing amounts if any).
- The period of clearance completion is one month starting from the date of submitting the application and completing the papers.
- The student cannot claim the clearance before this period.

The procedure of withdrawing the amounts that due to the student?
- Remaining in the clearance: the student will have it back by submitting an application form (withdrawal amount) in the student accounting department.
- A financial increase that reveals as a result of transferring the center and paying amounts in Syrian pounds, euros, or dollars: It is done by submitting an application form of withdrawal amount (transfer center) delivered in the office (Diwan) at the SVU headquarter or in one of the accredited centers of SVU inside Syria.
- A financial increase that revels in the case that the student wants to cancel his registration and he didn’t start his study at the university yet and he is in the first semester in the university: It is done by submitting an application form of cancelled registration delivered in the office (Diwan) at the SVU headquarter or in one of the accredited centers of SVU inside Syria.
