Important note about Military service document
Postponement certificates shall not be given during the exam period to all students.

The exam period means the program exam in general and not for every student
What are the steps to get the Postponement of Military service document?
1- Register in minimum courses of any program and then pay
2- Submit an electronic application through the web request system which you can access from university website.
3- When the request becomes in the office stage (Diwan stage) In the web request system, then the student could come to SVU headquarter in The Ministry of Higher Education in the next day to receive the paper through the SVU one window in the lobby of the ministry.
If the student placed the receiving center other than Damascus (the rest of the centers), he should wait a week for the paper to reach the center.
What are the terms of transition from year to year in the BL program (Bachelor of Law program)?
1- The transition to the second year requires success with 8 courses.
2- The transition to the third year requires success with 20 courses.
3- The transition to the fourth year requires success with 32 courses.
The total number of courses for graduation is 49 courses for the old students, and currently 50 courses.
What are the terms of transition from year to year in the BMC program (Bachelor of Mass communication program)?
1- The transition to the second year requires success with 8 courses.
2- The transition to the third year requires success with 20 courses.
3- The transition to the fourth year requires success with 33 courses.
The total number of courses for graduation is 50 courses for old students and 51 courses to the students which their registration term is F14 and 52 courses to the students which their registration term is F15.
What are the terms of transition from year to year in the BSCE program (Bachelor of Economics program) to those who are being accepted in the Mofadalla and to those who are being accepted as a second-year students after the promotion institutes?
- Business Administration specialization:
1- The transition to the second year requires success with 8 courses.
2- The transition to the third year requires success with 21 courses.
3- The transition to the fourth year requires success with 34 courses.
The total number of courses for graduation is 44 courses.
- Marketing specialization:
1- The transition to the second year requires success with 8 courses.
2- The transition to the third year requires success with 20 courses.
3- The transition to the fourth year requires success with 32 courses.

- Banks specialization:

1- Students are admitted directly to the third year.

What are the conditions for the year-to-year upgrade in the BAIT program?
The graduation to the fourth year requires 30 hours of success.
Graduation requires 177 hours, including five levels of English.
What are the conditions for the year-to-year upgrade in the BIT program accepted on the basis of secondary?

What are conditions of success from year to next year in Educational Habilitation Diploma program?
The student have to register in the first semester in 8 subjects, to obtain the postponement of military service document for the first time.
The student can obtain two postponement documents for compulsory service provided that:
1 – student has submitted exam for first semester’s subjects
2 – registering and paying fees for second semester’s subjects
